Aoi MichellE

Aoi MichellE is an acoustic guitar player from Tokyo, Japan. At the tender age of 3, she began playing the piano and was a tomboy who enjoyed engaging in sports such as baseball and basketball. She bought her first fire-red electric guitar at the age of 15. By age 17, she realized her passion for playing acoustic guitar and began singing J-pop songs. In college, MichellE took her musical talents to the next level and majored in Recording Engineering. Every day after school, she sang and played guitar with her classmates. Soon after graduating from music school, MichellE began performing live concerts while singing and playing her guitar. She also hosted a radio show and played with various artists as a guitarist. It was in 2017 that she made the big decision of performing solo with her guitar, and without singing. Although she had no experience performing solo on guitar, a newly found love for instrumental guitar was born. MichellE began to write instrumental acoustic guitar songs about everyday life and fond memories of her travels. She realized that some feelings could not be put into words but could be expressed through the melodic sounds of her acoustic guitar. Aoi MichellE strives to continue her musical journey alongside her acoustic guitar and discover where her next path leads her.
