R&B singer aimi is set to release her fifth EP, Tell Me You Love Me Too, on December 10. The six-track conceptual project centers on the theme of "the lingering echoes of love," portraying stories of parting, emotional scars from the past, and passionate devotion. With soulful and emotional R&B soundscapes, the EP tenderly embraces those who live for love. The project opens with "In The Memories," a deeply personal ballad that reflects on the warmth and love left behind for a beloved who has passed away. The previously released single "Make a Hit" delivers a sultry slow jam where aimi sings passionately, "You and I, we're gonna make a hit." Other highlights include the dreamy mid-tempo "Is It A Crime?" about unwavering love; "Magic Hour," a romantic scene painted in the glow of sunset; "Lost With You," a bittersweet song of unfulfilled love; and "Tell Me," a heartfelt plea asking, "Tell me you loved me too, tell me just like I do." Sonically, the EP blends influences from '90s Quiet Storm R&B, soulful sampling, minimal acoustic textures, and West Coast-inspired sounds, capturing love in all its forms. The EP is produced by longtime collaborator Modesty Beats, Atlanta-based DJ/producer Roos & NINETYSEVN, mixed by Jess Wong (Atlanta), and mastered by Hiroshi Shiota, known for his extensive work in Japanese hip-hop. aimi comments: "This is my second EP of the year, created as I faced the unresolved emotions and traumas of my past. Each song naturally emerged from that process. While the theme of 'love's afterglow' runs through the project, it's not just about romance - it's about trusting someone, being broken, and being saved again by love. I hope this EP resonates with anyone who has ever experienced the beautiful complexity of love."

aimi

Born and raised in Japan, aimi is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and emerging R&B artist. Based in Tokyo, she is now one of the most authentic R&B songstresses, contributing to the evolving Japanese R&B scene. She released her first bilingual EP, Water Me (2020), for both Japanese and global R&B listeners. Growing up listening to soul music and R&B, aimi picked up her father's guitar and began writing her own music at the age of 16. Her musical style is rooted in the soulful sounds of 90s and 00s R&B, with a blend of contemporary and alternative R&B influences. Since her latest EP Chosen One was released in early 2022, aimi has been gaining more recognition within Japan and her global streams have jumped significantly. aimi continues to push boundaries with her music and proudly presents her made-in-Japan R&B for all the R&B lovers around the globe. In April, she released her first single of 2024, which was produced by US multi-platinum R&B producer LEJKEYS, known for his work on Jhene Aiko's Grammy-nominated album Chilombo, as well as with Anderson Paak, Yuna, Awich, AI, and others. In the past few years, aimi has collaborated with R&B artists like EMI MARIA, JASMINE, and rising J-pop artist Furui Riho. Her second collaboration with EMI MARIA, How's The Weather?, went viral in China, becoming one of the most popular tracks in her catalog. Alongside her releases, aimi hosts her own R&B event and podcast, Detox Lounge powered by R&B Lovers Club. On February 5, she released her first EP in three years, Empower.Embrace (2025). In celebration of its release, she held her first-ever solo concert at Shibuya WWW, marking a milestone in her career with a resounding success.

As a result, the album is rich with exotic sonic influences that evoke an international atmosphere. BAKU

Born 1978 in Tokyo, Japan, he is a DJ, trackmaker, producer, and turntablist. He started his career as a DJ at the age of 16, and in the late 1990s, he played in the hip-hop group Hannya with Hannya and Rumi. After the group disbanded, he released the mixtape "KAIKOO WITH SCRATCH 1999" on DIS-DEFENSE DISC, a label he founded himself in 1999. In 2001, he participated in the DJ KRUSH NIKE "Presto" music project. In 2005, he released the DVD "KAIKOO", a film documenting BAKU and Tokyo's independent music scene, and in 2006, he released the album "SPINHEDDZ" (which was released in 2008 on N2O Records by DJ Starscream of Slipknot and Omar of MarsVolta). In 2006, he released the album "SPINHEDDZ" (which was also released in the US by N2O Records, led by DJ Starscream of Slipknot and Omar of MarsVolta), and in 2008, he released his second album "DHARMA DANCE" from POPGROUP and the song "AKBAH ATTACK" was used in the Cannes Film Festival. In 2009, he released "THE 12JAPS" featuring 12 of Japan's leading rappers, and the official mix CD "JAPADAPTA". In 2010, BAKU initiated and organized "KAIKOO POPWAVE FESTIVAL'10", an urban music festival organized by "POPGROUP" at the special stage of Harumi Cruise Terminal in Tokyo, attracting more than 10,000 people over two days, making it the largest scale event ever held at the terminal since 2005. In 2012, he formed a unit with KYONO (ex.THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS) to perform at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'12. They have appeared on stage 5 times as DJ at FUJIROCK since their first appearance in '0 3) Participated in the movie "009 RE:CYBORG" tribute. TURNTABLE RIDER, which he was in charge of the soundtrack, won an international award at the LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARD "Film Category". In 2015, he won the OUTLOOK FESTIVAL JAPAN 2015 SOUND CLASH using KOHH and FIREBALL's DUB PLATE. In the same year, he released his album "NEO TOKYO RAVE STYLE", which became a hot topic with the participation of UK artists such as Ryo (Crystal Lake), Benji (Skindred), and RAGGA TWINS. He established KAIKOO Co., Ltd. in 2018. In the same year, he joined the Turntable Orchestra formed by US and Japanese artists at the Louvre Abu-Dhabi and performed for two days. In 2019, he was in charge of the music for the movie "VIDEOPHOBIA" directed by Daisuke Miyazaki. "Mitsume's Moto Kawabe and Summer Eye, the solo project of Tomoyuki Natsume (formerly of Siamese Cats), will release a Christmas-themed split single on December 10. KawabeSs ""Silent Night"" layers minimal drum programming with gently swaying guitar and synth textures, allowing his intimate vocal delivery to illuminate the quiet and faint glow of winter nights. The sparse arrangement highlights subtle moments of solitude and small, lingering warmth-Kawabe's signature, understated sound. In contrast, Summer Eye's ""Ekimae""(means ""in front of the station"") unfolds with light, warm-toned beats and soft synths, capturing fleeting sensations on a late-December street corner and the unspoken feelings that hover between two people. His voice begins in a whisper-like closeness before opening up in the refrain, naturally evoking the bustle and small comforts of a winter city evening. Though both tracks embrace minimal arrangements, each artist's distinct sensibility stands out vividly, sealing into one record a winter tale where stillness meets warmth, and solitude meets hope. A split release carrying just the right emotional temperature for the holiday season. Available as a limited 7-inch vinyl and on digital platforms simultaneously."
