One month after the previous release WHITE HORSE, ELIM presents the new track Prism. Composed by A Tsukiumi with Lofi sampling and detailed analog synth melodies, Prism carries ELIMs own lyrics. The song begins with an intro that recalls a slightly burnt and stretched tape, then expands like flares of rainbow light pouring into the sea. The music video, also directed and edited by ELIM, explores the themes of light and shadow, visible and invisible, and questions the essence of human beings and all living things. A rotating merry go round, the roots of the tree of knowledge, a lotus blooming in the mud, a child climbing a spider thread. These images treat what is seen and what is unseen equally, while confronting the dark side of human history painted with blood, tears, and sweat. In the final scene, a child with a special gaze appears. Their eyes symbolize a future beyond conflict, suggesting another possibility that humanity has not yet reached. Prism is a work that asks us, through sound and vision, to recognize the colors that shine within imperfection.
