"Sumire (Smile Violet)" is a long, dark rock ballad created by MW, the lyricist and composer for SHAMISEVEN, and was inspired by Kamii's popular signature song, "Smile." While incorporating elements that link to "Smile" in various places, such as the melody of the chorus and lyrical phrases, which include answer song-like elements, it expresses a dark world view that is the polar opposite of the pop-like "Smile."
