N.I.N is a japanese hip hop project led by producer/musician extraordinaire Nozomi Yamaguchi. Nozomi was stuck in Japan for 8 months away from his LA home because of Covid19. Lockdown and quarantine period inspired him to begin new things, one of which is to express his long time love for hip hop through rapping in his native language Japanese and him rapping to his own beats is how the project started. Nozomi then met a rapper Neon who's been actively performing in Yamagata Japan his hometown for over two decades and through him a younger rapper ILOHA who's from Fukushima and has been playing shows intensively in Yamagata. The three hit it right off and started making songs together. Other features include Nozomi's frequent collaborators, guitarist/producer Shing0jilla and artist/producer Lotta Bux. Tokyo based singer who's sought after so heavily in the industry know as a "singer's singer", Maru and Kenya "KOTESTU" Shirani who leads his own band The Pigeonz also are exiting editions to this album.
