The long-awaited 1st album of the Kenichi Takahashi trio, which has conflicting elements!!] In 2020, as the world shook due to the corona wreck, Kenichi Takahashi learned of the existence of a new life in his wife and soon after he lost his mother. This album is a valuable sound source that has great significance for Takahashi, created in the joy of becoming a father and the sadness of losing his mother. Looking back on the recording, Takahashi says, "A new life, a dead mother, deep love and gratitude naturally overflowed and became one with the Zen world." Starting with "Timeless" dedicated to my child and my late mother, and ending with Dvorak's "Symphony No. 9", this work flows like a story, and when you finish listening, it feels like a journey of sound. It will be wrapped in a mysterious afterglow. The quiet ripple-like delicacy and sometimes bold and thrilling performance will make the listener feel fresh and nostalgic at the same time. The contradictory element is a unique musical expression that springs from Takahashi's desire to "go to a sensuous world and make listeners feel something", which Takahashi cherishes when playing music. Kenichi Takahashi Trio

Started playing the piano by himself at the age of 18. Majored in soundscape theory under Mr. Masashi Komatsu while attending university. Started playing activities while still in school. Currently, he has appeared in many stores and jazz festivals. He has performed with many other domestic and foreign musicians such as Hitoshi Hayashi, Takehiro Kunugi, Joshua Breakstone, Stafford Hunter, Luciano Ghosn, Juanma Zurano Palacios, and performs more than 300 live performances and recordings annually. While playing mainly jazz, he participates in creative collaborations with artists of various genres such as flamenco, celtic, Japanese musical instrument players, poetry readings, painters, dancers, and filmmakers. In 2020, it was selected as a Kyoto City Cultural Arts Subsidy in recognition of its achievements and future prospects. Released the 1st leader album "In My Minds Eye" in the backup of Kyoto city. In recent years, he has been studying the early days of bebop from the swing period, going back to the origin of jazz, and at the same time, he was impressed by classical pianist Stanislav Neuhaus and learned how to play Neuhaus, and is exploring his own sound.
