Arcos da Lapa (Lapa Arches) is the title of singer-song writer Sueli Gushi's first EP. Second generation Japanese Brazilian born in Brazil and living in Japan, Sueli Gushi sings about everyday situations, using elements of samba, maxixe, choro, and expressing her own experience and the rich and multiracial Brazilian culture in well interpreted and carefully selected songs. Produced and recorded in Brazil and Japan, in partnership with Tupiniquim Japan and Gaijin Produções, this EP comes at a crucial moment in the singer's career. In 2020 she celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut as a singer in Japan and won the Brazilian International Press Awards in the category of female singer. "Arcos da Lapa" is an international and bold project celebrating the deep and historical bond between Brazil and Japan. Arcos da Lapa é o título do primeiro EP da cantora e compositora Sueli Gushi. Com elementos do Samba, Maxixe, Choro e riquíssima diversidade rítmica e melódica. a cantora nos remete a diversos lugares e situações cotidianas, além de expressar com leveza e musicalidade toda sua brasilidade mestiça em canções bem interpretadas e cuidadosamente selecionadas. Sueli Gushi Born in Sao Paulo, the capital of Brazil, she is a second-generation Japanese Brazilian living in Japan. She made her debut as a singer in 2009.(47 years old at the time) In 2010, she formed the unit "Duo Savior" with Japanese guitarist Hiroshi Nakanuma. They play a wide repertoire of Brazilian music such as Samba, MPB, Sertanello, Bossa Nova, Pops, Choro, and Carimbo. She won the Brazilian International Press Awards hosted by the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (CCBJ), as "Duo Savior" in the music and group division in 2018, and "Sueli Gushi(solo)" in a female singer division in 2020. Sueli Gushi é natural de São Paulo,Brasil. Prominente da segunda geração de nipo-brasileiros residentes no Japão. Fez seu debute como cantora em 2009(aos 47 anos de idade). Em 2010 formou o "Duo Sabiá" junto ao guitarrista japonês  Hiroshi Nakanuma, o duo apresenta uma vasta gama de estilos em seu repertório como: Samba, MPB, Sertanejo, Bossa Nova, Pop, Choro e Carimbó. Em 2018 o "Duo Sabiá " foi premiado pelo Brazilian International Press evento promovido pela Focus Brasil. Em 2020 Sueli Gushi também foi leita na categoria melhor cantora.
