Yusuke Imanishi Sextet
Yusuke Imanishi was born on September 27th, 1982 in Nishinomiya, Japan. At age 14, he began studying the trombone and played Big Band Jazz as a member of Konan Brass Ensemble. He began taking trombone lessons from Hiroshi Munekiyo while he was a junior high and high school student. In 2004, he went to U.S. to study Jazz with world renowned Jazz trombonist Steve Davis. He was admitted to and got full scholarship to the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, University of Hartford, Connecticut. In 2008, after the graduation from the university, he came back to Kobe and begun his professional career as a jazz trombonist, arranger and composer. In 2011, He released his first CD "Crisp"(JLR-1103) In 2012, He released his second CD "Wayfarer"(JLR-1203) In 2014, He released his third CD "Weather"(JLR-1401) In 2016, He released his fourth CD "Meteorology"(NBR-1601)
