Yoko Baba, Hajime Niwa & Syuntaro Harada
Was born Kuji-Iwate, grown up Hachinohe-Aomori, living in Moroka-Iwate. Graduated of Music, the National Iwate University. As studying music, she started performing as a professional piano accompaniment on the fields of the Classics, a chanson, the tango and Gospels. Made her debut as a Jazz pianist under the influence of Bill Evance. Joined the TOHOKU tour with the Grammy awarded David Matthews and well known musician such as Atsushi Ikeda, Eiji Yamanaka, Nobuo Yagi, Ebony Fay,Tynice Brooks, and so on. Delicately and dynamically, having the tour not only Japan but also abroad with by herself, or with unit including the foreign musician . Also plan to have some concerts in NY and LA in the USA this year. Has got the talent for producing the music event, party and speaking on the talk show, lecturing seminars. Also wrote the essay "Namida o nagasuyouni(As tears go by)" Participating the local volunteering works, having the Jazz work shop at the elementary-secondary schools and the concert at the nursing homes. As being broadcasted by TV/Radio, she became a popular with her native area also be offered composing through officially. Recent activities: Composing and playing the theme music of "News plus 1 Iwate"NTV since 29March2010 Published the essay "Namida o nagasuyouni (As tears go by)" 07July2010 Composing the TV Commercial film music for Kohoku shinpo-the local news paper of Miyagi since February 2011 Releaced the first CD "Furusato-UTSUROI" 10June11-delayed by the TOHOKU Eartuquake including "Yukyu" for the HIRAIZUMI world heritage imagination song. Participated "Nango Winter Jazz Festival 2011"as the Main guest. The performance with David Matthews shaked the music world. Performed in a solo concert in NY&LA 2012. Performed in a solo concert in Hong Kong 2012. Releaced the second CD "More than you know" 13June2014. Releaced the collaboration CD with Enka singer "FURUSATO-OMOU" 02October2020. Releaced the third CD "I Will Wait For You" 15December2020. Composing and playing the cinema music of "Tayutaedomo sizumazu" since 2021. Has got the rights of JASRAC.
