Asami Shimma

Born in Tokyo, She grew up in Kashiwa, a suburb area near Tokyo.
She was introduced to the piano at the age of two by her mother who was a piano teacher, and started composing in elementary school.
In her university days in Tokyo Music University, she studied jazz improvisation as well as her major in classical piano.
She currently plays at various scenes all around Japan, from live houses and musical events to restaurants and cruise ships.
