Vanilla Mood

Vanilla Mood is a Japanese musical ensemble associated, consisting of members Keiko (piano, keyboard, vocals), Yui (violin), and Mariko (cello). They create and perform the original and cover piece of various genres with an original style. Their 4 original albums were released by Avex Group and a couple of the original pieces have been known as TV shows theme songs and commercial songs. The trio appeared some TV shows and the events for the live performances and spent much time of touring in Japan and the concerts in Tokyo. The origin of the band name "Vanilla Mood" comes from the vanilla ice cream which fits with any topping and flavors as the band composes , arranged and plays into any genres. In 2003, Vanilla Mood began their career while at the Tokyo University of Arts. Since they started performing on the regular TV shows in Japan, they were known widely to the world. Meanwhile, the repertory that they played and arranged amounts to about 800 pieces.
