She is influenced by classic, jazz, jump blues, jive, children's music and things like that...So her music style is swinging hodgepodge. She sings about subtleties of feeling and little bitty scenes in daily life. Willie the Lion Smith, Fats Waller, Thelonius Monk, And Terry Adams(NRBQ) are the pianists she respects most. She has close friendship with the members of NRBQ, and played with them several times in the past.
