Mai Mukuno

Singer-songwriter from Fukuoka prefecture. Studied architecture at university and got a job at a housing design company. I moved to Tokyo to pursue my dream of being a pastry chef. Due to hard work, I got sick and retired, starting after a part-time job at the Music Bar. That was the place where I first performed on stage and the contact with the music that I loved so much absorbed me even stronger than before. After that I held regularly One Man Live and performed at various events. After visiting to the United States for three times, I honed my songs and in 2017 released first album 'Deep Love' and in 2019 the second one 'Ashi-Ato'. Because of the current coronavirus circumstances, Amateur night at the Apollo Theatre in New York has been postponed, I have decided to participate in the next one.
