“Makoto Nomura+Kumiko Yabu” released the new music Album “musik genteng”

“Makoto Nomura+Kumiko Yabu” just dropped the new and hot Album “musik genteng”. It will contain the songs 'Welcome to Tsui village', 'Vacuum Soil Mixing Machine', 'Carbonised Silver', 'Caribbean Frogs', 'Roof Gawalan', 'Sagawara Sanka', 'Interlude for Drying Clay', 'Roof Tile March', 'Kaki Yaburi' and 'Bali' total of 21songs. Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.

Music on KAWARA is the sound art project started in 2013. NPO Awajishima Art Center promotes Music on KAWARA project with the slogan "Let's compose Music with KAWARA".  Kawara is traditional Japanese roof tile which made by burned and carbonated clay. This project based at Tsui Village, Minami-Awaji City, as known as a district of the traditional Awaji roof tiles industry over 400 years of history. We explored KARARA as a musical instrument with two musicians Nomura Makoto (Composer) and Kumiko Yabu (Percussionist). We have held concerts and workshops in Indonesia, Italy and Japan. Also we are going to produce new KAWARA instruments with the instruction of local kawara industries. In 2015, we released the CD "musik genteng" and it's now on sale. We have been promoting Music on KAWARA all over the world.

Music on KAWARA is the sound art project started in 2013. NPO Awajishima Art Center promotes Music on KAWARA project with the slogan "Let's compose Music with KAWARA". Kawara is originally not only for a roof tile. Kawara means a pottery by high temperature[1000 degrees] firing. And Kawara is also the world culture that it is referred to as one of the invention of man. We are based in Tsui District, Minami-Awaji City, a production district of the traditional Awaji tile industry, with over 400 years of history in Awajishima. We have explored the musical potential of KARARA as an instrument under the supervision of NOMURA Makoto(Composer) and YABU Kumiko (Percussionist). We have held concerts and workshops. Also we have tried to produce KAWARA instruments experimentally under the instruction of local tilers. In 2015, we released the CD "musik genteng" and it's now on sale. We have performed Music on KAWARA in Italy , Indonesia and all over Japan .
