Syu Miura

Biography Syu Miura is an experimental pop musician based in Tokyo. Upon seeing Ken Ishii's "extra" music video in junior high school, Syu felt compelled to dive into the world of music. He had found his calling. His musical journey began with writing instrumental music using a cassette tape MTR and his mother's guitar. Later, influenced by alternative rock, he began to incorporate vocals as additional layer within his songs. Some of his influences include Pulp Fiction, Aphex Twin, Beck, Gong Fu Movie (Jackie Chan), and Sonic Youth. Syu constantly strives to create crisp, catchy melodies. Releases 1st single "Catch me tuck me" 2nd single "ep1" Demo work collection "STE" He is currently working on experimental pop music using 3D sound.
