“Kōya Ogata” released the new music Album “blank space -vol.4- & 1Q”
“Kōya Ogata” just dropped the new and hot Album “blank space -vol.4- & 1Q”. It will contain the songs 'ennui', 'Z', 'A Little Sunny Day', 'boring', 'time', 'tabizumaahabi', 'Many "Scratch" Perry', 'People, sprouting', 'Lost Landscape' and 'flow' total of 16songs. Kōya Ogata announced the distribution of the EP "Blank Space -vol.4- &1Q" following the previous work. Since leaving THE CHERRY COKE$ in 2014, Kōya Ogata has been steadily building up his career at his own pace, taking various approaches to music production, including participating in BiSH recordings and providing sound sources related to art and fashion. Most recently, in January 2020, he contributed music to the Italian contemporary music label Blue Spiral Records. In July of the same year, he released his second cassette, which was selected for the Apple's official playlist "Sound Bath" and reached the top of the charts in 6 countries and the top 10 in 14 countries. The "Blank Space" series is an instrumental hip-hop album that samples only material from "Splice Sounds," a subscription-based sample music service. This album consists of four tracks, "Ennui," "Z," "A Little Sunny Day," and "boring," which evoke the sky and people's feelings during the rainy season. In addition to "Blank Space -vol.4-", the album includes vol.1-3 (1Q), which have already been distributed. Throughout the 16 songs, you can fully enjoy the unique worldview of the music while using the sounds that abound in everyday life, so please give it a listen.

He joined COMME des GARÇONS as a fresh graduate and left the company after two years.
At THE CHERRY COKE$ I belonged until 2014, I appeared in various music festivals throughout the country, including COUNT DOWN JAPAN / FUJIROCK FESTIVAL.
Passing from one place to another, and finally I started music activities as solo in 2017, centering on Minimal Music/Post classical/Ambient Music.
In November 2017, in New York, I took charge of soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa who is a shoes artist.
In concert with performances abroad, I presented a music for the solo exhibition which will be the first work after solo.
In December 2018, in London, I took charge of soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa.
In January 2020, he joined a compilation album from the Italian contemporary music label "Blue Spiral Records".
In July 2020, the second cassette "SENSE2" is released.
It was also selected as a playlist on Apple Music, and reached No.1 on the Instrumental Top Albums Chart in 6 countries and Top 10 in 14 countries.
