“MIDORi” released the new music Album “HOME”

“MIDORi” just dropped the new and hot Album “HOME”. It will contain the songs 'A House Is Not a Home (Cover)', 'Águas de Março (Cover)', 'Corcovado (Cover)', 'Com Açucar, Com Afeto (Cover)', 'Where Do You Start? (Cover)', 'Sabiá (Cover)', 'Tu Fotografía (Cover)', 'As Árvores da Vida' and 'La Casa (Cover)' total of 9songs. Enjoy the World sound from the far east Asia.

This album is a collection of prominent songs from all over the world. Those songs describe the various scenes unfolded at "home" or reminding of "hometown" covered by MIDORi in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Produced by talented pianist NAGAMI Yukitaka, this unique anthology is entirely recorded at MIDORi's residence, an old wooden traditional Japanese renovated house. The album includes an original song co-written with Yukitaka, " As Árvores da Vida (Trees of Life)", based on the theme of reverence for trees.

MIDORi

MIDORi is a Japanese acoustic artist who sings in multilingual languages. Born in Hiroshima, western Japan, and now she resides on the east coast in Chigasaki, South of Tokyo.

MIDORi started her music experience at an early age. She began to play the piano since five years old and has grown up listening to various genres of music like Alternative, Blues, R&B/Soul, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and so on.

In 2001, when MIDORi traveled to Sao Paulo, Brazil, she encountered a song titled "Não é fácil (It's not easy)" song by Marisa Monte and fell in love with Brazilian music. That's when she started to sing songs of Bossa nova and other MPB (Música Popular Brasileira/Brazilian Popular Music).

In 2010, while working as a linguistic interpreter, MIDORi began her music carrier at 40 years old, covering distinguished acoustic songs from all over the world, especially from the Americas continent such as Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Argentine, and the U.S.

MIDORi has performed live performances in Tokyo and Kanagawa's renowned venues like eplus LIVING ROOM CAFE & DINING, Motion Blue Yokohama, Kumazawa Shuzo mokichi wurst cafe, etc.

In February 2016, MIDORi released her first bossa nova album titled "NATURAL" produced by a guitarist TSUYUKI Tatsuya and the 2nd album "Home" with a pianist NAGAMI Yukitaka in 2018, which was recorded entirely at her home.

Based on her experience living in Latin American countries, MIDORi deeply interprets the lyrics and expresses them with her soft, relaxing, and warm voice from the bottom of her heart.
