In this album, the band plays straight ahead rock that reminds 70s classic rock. And also jazzy bossa-nova and soul tune with sax, piano and contrabass. Featuring shamisen, Japanese traditional string, in all tunes played guitar-like technique. You can hear some guitar-like sound on the left channel, however this is not guitar, but Electric-Shamisen. Yasumi, singer and shamisen-player of this band, is also a scholar of Japanese Buddhist art. The concept of "Kinky Jack Yack" is based on Japanese ancient history. He mainly sings the mystery of Japanese religious spirit.
