Taiyo Koumon Supaparn was formed in western Tokyo under the banner of "overcoming Frank Zappa's social democratic limitations from the left" by about 20 members including Masanosuke Hanasaki (singing, guitar), chorus, and wind and string instruments.
After that, they joined forces with Yoichi Hirai (guitar), Kanji Nakao (trombone, saxophone, Nagasaki Omura dialect rap), Nobuo Fujii (drums), and many others.
In 1998, they released the CD "Horse and Man". This work, which vividly depicts the corruption of Japanese society from the perspective of a high school student named Noriko, was selected as one of the 100 best Japanese albums at Tower Records Shinjuku. In 2015, They released the CD "Atomic sunshine", which critically depicts the structural corruption of Japanese society from the perspective of a girl in her 30s, as seen through the Fukushima nuclear accident.
