plant cellの「Nature Reserve」が配信開始された。今回、デジタル配信リリースされた楽曲は、「After the thundercloud」「Howling Wind Noise α」「Erica carnea」「Evergreen Road (feat. Liélla)」「Hornstrandir Nature Reserve」「Wind & Wing (feat. Mei Konno)」「Howling Wind Noise β」「Holtasóley」「plan (e) t cell at Iceland -A hommage to The Voices-」「t h u n d e r c l o u d (Reprise)」を含む全11曲となっている。

2016年の結成以来、一貫して花、植物、自然風景を題材に「SHOEGAZE」からの派生ジャンル「FLOWERGAZE」を掲げ、独自の活動をしてきたplant cellが、前作Landscapeから3年ぶりのニューアルバムをリリースした。 今作はアイスランドの自然風景、植物を題材に、 自然の美しさ、激しさ、儚さを鮮やかに音で表現した。 シューゲイザー発祥の地、イギリスBBCラジオで曲が流れるほど世界での認知が高まってきているplant cellの唯一無二な音世界を体感してほしい。

2015年結成。シューゲイザーサウンドを基調とし、花・植物・自然風景を題材にした風景画のような音世界が特徴。 2017年ブラジルのインディレーベルTBTCI Recordsよりslowdive公認トリビュートに参加をし、Shineをカバー。このリリースにより、海外のマニアたちからも注目されはじめる。 2018年高円寺HIGHで毎月開催しているシューゲイザーイベント「Total Feedback」の10周年を記念したコンピレーションアルバム「Total Feedback 2018」に参加。更に「cruyff in the bedroom」、ZEPPET STORE中村雄一氏のソロプロジェクト「LUCY’S DRIVE」と共に台北でライブを行なった。 2020年11月、イギリス国営放送BBCラジオ番組のシューゲイザー発祥30周年記念番組内で日本のシューゲイザー バンドとしてplant cellの曲が放送される。
