Since their formation in 2016, plant cell has been consistently using flowers, plants, and natural landscapes as the subject matter for their unique activities under the "FLOWERGAZE" genre derived from "SHOEGAZE", and has released their first new album in three years since their previous album Landscape. This album is based on the natural landscape and plants of Iceland. The beauty, intensity, and fragility of nature are vividly expressed in their sound. The band's music has been played on BBC radio in the UK, the birthplace of SHOEGAZE, and is gaining worldwide recognition.
