“MooN Voices” released the new music Album “WISH UPON THE MOON”

“MooN Voices” just dropped the new and hot Album “WISH UPON THE MOON”. It will contain the songs 'Blue Moon (Cover)', 'Wish Upon The Moon', 'Luz Nascente', 'In Harmony', 'Wash Your Hah Hah Hah Hands', 'Seaside Song', 'Take the A train (Cover)' and 'The Moment' total of 8songs. Enjoy the J-Pop sound from the far east Asia.

WISH UPON THE MOON, the 2nd CD release of MooN Voices, a Japanese Jazz Vocal Duo, that promises to add a totally different dimension to the jazz genre. In addition to some jazz standards and a creative arrangements of and Japanese old song, this Album includes 5 of Naoko's original compositions that are pop and melodic, but also follows the style of authentic big band jazz and Brazilian music. Unlike the 1st CD, with piano accompaniment only, on this new project the duo will be supported by three of Kansai's best musicians who are well versed in both jazz and Brazilian music, giving the project a more authentic groove. Most of the recording and engineering work was done remotely by themselves. This new CD is the product of positive thought and energy during the corona virus epidemic. MooN Voices

Megu Adawas and Naoko ARE MooN Voices, a vocal harmonic duo that touches the hearts of their audience as smoothly as moonlight. The duo began creating these special harmonies in 2015 while pursuing their own solo careers. As a unit their sound is reminiscent of the Andrew Sisters, a famous American jazz vocal group of the 1940's, but also is extremely unique and more sophisticated and modernized in harmonies.

Like the famous American vocal trio, MooN Voices' repertoire encompasses a variety of genres, which include jazz standards, Brazilian Bossa Nova and traditional Japanese songs, making this duo unparalleled in its creative arrangements that highlight their one-of-a-kind harmonic scat choruses.

In 2018 MooN Voices were selected as finalists at the 19th Kobe Shinkaichi Jazz Vocal Queen Contest. The Duo released their first CD in January 2019, entitled "MooN Voices" and the CD received a "highly recommended CD" review in the April 2019 issue of CD Journal, a major Japanese music journal. In June of the same year MooN Voices was invited to perform on Jazz Live KOBE, an NHK TV program.

The Duo's 2nd CD WISH UPON THE MOON is scheduled for release in September 2021. The new CD includes some original songs written by Naoko.
