While studying piano from an early age, he became interested in mood music (easy listening) artists such as Paul Mauriat and Percy Faith, and began self-taught music arrangements around the age of 16. In October 2006, while still a graduate student, he published his poetry collection "Poetic Meter of Shine" at his own expense and started composing in the same year.
