“Awai & Umi Ogimi” released the new music Album “SONNET”

“Awai & Umi Ogimi” just dropped the new and hot Album “SONNET”. It will contain the songs 'Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?', 'Thou art more lovely and more temperate:', 'Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,', 'And summer's lease hath all too short a date:', 'Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,', 'And often is his gold complexion dimm'd,', 'And every fair from fair sometime declines,', 'By chance, or nature's changing course untrimm'd:', 'But thy eternal summer shall not fade,' and 'Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,' total of 14songs. Enjoy the Hip Hop/Rap sound from the far east Asia.

The members of Gekidan-Awai, an up-and-coming theatre and art collective from Japan, formed a musical group to create their first "music" work. In 2019 Gekidan-Awai performed their theatrical play called "Sonnet," which was based on Shakespeare's poetry collection with the same title and its Japanese translated version done by Kenichi Yoshida. They recreated the play and turned it into a collection of songs. Umi Ogimi, who was in charge of music in the theatrical version, worked as a composer and opened up a new way of musical expression.
