The title of her latest work, which comes four years after her previous work "Amabie," is "Kitsune hanabi."
The theme of the summer festivals of the Edo period unfolds in a bewitching worldview, and you can feel the newness in the old.
Singing lyrics written entirely in ancient language, Asagi's voice and appearance are exactly like mysterious fox "Tamamo-no-Mae", the nine-tailed fox, and it is no exaggeration to say that she is a possessed vocalist.
Following the supreme full album "Madara," which reached the pinnacle of neo-Japanesque, this work also allows you to experience the beauty of Japan as if a picture scroll were unfolding before your eyes.

On guitar is the familiar, delicate and melodic HIRO (La'cryma Christi), and this is the first time that TERU (Versailles / Jupiter), who also worked together in JVM and carves out an intense groove, participates.

As for Japanese instruments, following on from the previous work, Ibukuro Kiyoshi (Wagakki Band / Kafugetsu), who wears an ancient air, participates on koto, and this time, the only female to participate on Tsugaru shamisen, Ninagawa Beni (Wagakki Band), lights up the darkness.
The sound of Shinya (LUNA SEA), who does Japanese drums, can be said to be the sound of a summer night.

2003年4月,Dを結成.自社,有限会社GOD CHILD RECORDS を立ち上げ,精力的に活動.動員やセールスを増やし一気に注目を集める.リリースされるCDが軒並みオリコンインディーズチャート1位を獲得.総合チャートでも上位を記録し,2006年末には渋谷C.C.Lemon ホールをソールドアウト.2007年秋,Smile Companyとマネジメント契約.2008年5月7日シングル[BIRTH]でavex traxよりメジャーデビュー.オリコン週間シングルチャート(5月17日付)にて初登場8位を獲得.その後も[闇の国のアリス/波紋]などリリースする作品がゲームや映画,TV 番組などのタイアップとなり,軒並みオリコンチャートTOP10入りを獲得する.([SnowWhite]では自身最高位となる6位を記録)メジャー1stアルバム[Genetic World]を発売.(オリコン週間アルバムチャート初登場11位)2011年1月にはヴァンパイアコンセプトを掲げたフルアルバム[VAMPIRE SAGA]をリリース.海外盤も発売し,世界進出.初のEUツアー(7カ国10公演)を大盛況のうちに終える.また,アメリカでは全米第二位のイベント[A-KON]にメインアクトとして出演.世界にDの名を広める.2013年4月,10周年を迎え渋谷公会堂にてSpecial Premium Live[Bon Voyage!]を行い,ビクターエンタテインメントとの再メジャー契約を発表.2014年には47都道府県ツアーを行い,12月にはファイナルの舞浜アンフィシアター公演をソールドアウトし,大盛況のうちにツアーを終える.ASAGI の顎関節症により活動休止するが,2015年8月29日の赤坂BLITZ にて復活.2階席を含めた完全ソールドアウトとなる.2015年9月16日にリリースした最新シングルHAPPY UNBIRTHDAY はオリコンデイリーチャート最高位10位,ウィークリーチャートでは初登場14位にランクイン.そして 2016年4月,ソロとしてもメジャーデビューを果たす.
