Three Berry Icecream, the solo unit of Mayumi Ikemizu, a member of the Shibuya-kei band BRIDGE, who worked with Hideki Kaji and others, will release their first full-length album, "Three Berry Icecream", on 12" LP on Record Day (27 November). on 27th November. The album will be preceded by the digital release of 'Rainbow mountain road' on 19th November. The long-awaited new album is a solo unit, but it is a studio album with a "band" theme. The band members include veterans such as Osamu Shimada of Swinging Popsicle/The Caraway, Kiyotaka Sugimoto of orangenoise shortcut, and Yasushi Sakurai of Corniche Camomile, as well as Hisashi Iwabuchi of Sloppy Joe and Miki Hirose of h-shallows, many musicians of all ages, from mid-career to young, participated. The recording sessions took place this summer at Studio Happiness, run by Eiji Hirano, the man behind many of the band's works, including Eito's "Perfume". With veterans such as Tatsuhiko Mori of the Hammer label as mix engineer and Seiki Sato of Microstar as mastering engineer, it is no exaggeration to say that the album is one of the best examples of neo-acoustic soft rock of the 20s.

Three Berry Icecream is the solo project by Mayumi Ikemizu. She and Hideki Kaji, who was popular musician in Japan and other members made a major debut as BRIDGE from Polystar Records in 1992. After the band disbanded in 1995, she began solo activities by releasing cassette tapes to try to sing the songs she was making during the BRIDGE era. In 1999. She released her first EP, "three berry icecream", in 7-inch format in the United States in 1999. In July 2000, she released her first mini album "Apricot" from channel production in Tokyo, and in March 2006 her second mini album "Rain Drops". A collaboration with Brent Kenji (Friedrich Sunlight, ex.the Fairways), which was also on the US tour before, was decided, and a new work "three cheers" as an original work for the first time in 11 years is 7 inch from Miobell Records in December 2017 in Japan. The 20th anniversary of the her solo activity reached in 2018.
