MASAKI SHIMOJI Born & Raised in Miyako island of Okinawa, Japan. Debuted in the major Japanese music scene as the vocalist of music duo called "navy&ivory" in 2005. The major debut single "Ring" became very popular via radio and cable broadcasting, and awarded with "Newcomers of the Year" in the 38th Cable Broadcasting Awards. "Ring" became a Japanese standard of wedding songs and recorded over 2 million downloads as a result. Stopping his musical activities as a vocalist of the duo in 2013, MASAAKI SHIMOJI has started his own musical career as a solo singer-songwriter and expanding his horizons ever since.
