“Hidefumi Toki” released the new music Album “Live at "RAG"”

“Hidefumi Toki” just dropped the new and hot Album “Live at "RAG"”. It will contain the songs 'C Minor (feat. Kazuhiko Takeda)', 'Everything Happens to Me (feat. Kazuhiko Takeda) [Cover]', 'On the Trail (feat. Kazuhiko Takeda) [Cover]' and 'The Guitar Man (feat. Kazuhiko Takeda)' total of 4songs. Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.

This album is a valuable live sound source left by Hidefumi Toki, the treasure of the Japanese jazz who died in June 2021. This work records a live performance at in Kyoto the day before the studio recording of "The Guitar Man" (DOD-009) released in September 2020 featuring guitar legend Kazuhiko Takeda. The sound of the two legends with the best blues feeling of the time is truly exquisite. With the support of Jun Miyakawa (org) and Shingo Okudaira (ds), we will deliver the best time of mellow and bluesy rising in the relaxed air.

Hidefumi Toki

After entering high school, he made his professional debut at the age of 16. Joined "Isao Suzuki Group", "Toshiyuki Miyama & New Hard" in 1970, and joined "Terumasa Hino Quintet " in 1972. In 1975, he released his first album[TOKI]. Since then, he has been leading the jazz scene of Japan as a top player that everyone recognizes. In 1979, he appeared in the Montreux Jazz Festival as a member of "Naoya Matsuoka & Wesing" . From 1985, he formed "CHICKEN SHACK" with Junji Yamagishi and played an active part in the fusion scene. On the other hand, he has been generously helping other genres of artists. Among them, Tatsuro Yamashita's support for 30 years is famous and has left many famous performances. There are 30 leader works and more than 400 in participating albums. In 2018, we released [Black Eyes] by Regular Quintet from .
