“Tokyo trova gakubou” released the new music Album “from the past to the present”

“Tokyo trova gakubou” just dropped the new and hot Album “from the past to the present”. It will contain the songs 'naihei gaisei', 'as time passed', 'twilight moon', 'a lifetime', 'awakening of love', 'at dusk', 'early spring, gentle breeze', 'white cloud', 'the east sky at daybreak' and 'temporal presence like the empty cicada shell' total of 12songs. Enjoy the J-Pop sound from the far east Asia.

The 1st album of Tokyo trova gakubou "Ouko raikon - from the past to the present -". Sentimental melody and arrangement are based on Cuban traditional music which uses impressive Cuban stringed instrument (tres, baby bass, guitarra), percussions(congas, bongos, bata, guiro, maracas). In addition, they are colored with Okinawan new musical instrument "rockrogen(6rogen)" which is developed from traditional sanshin. The lyrics sung in Japanese are improvised from the Japanese ancient poetry called "waka".

Tokyo trova gakubou

The music of "Tokyo Trova Gakubou" is based on Cuban music "son" that blends elements of Spanish and African origin. The lyrics sung in Japanese are improvised from the Japanese poetry called "waka". Motifs are written in the oldest imperial anthology "Kokinwakashu". We uses impressive "tres Cubano", the baby bass, an acoustic guitar and percussions (bongos,guiro,maracas) to play unique Cuban rhythm patterns. We also use Okinawan new musical instrument "rockrogen(6rogen)" which is developed from traditional sanshin to mix the Oriental traditional sound.
