Naoki Fukuda

Born in Tokyo in 1960. Studied music at Toho High School, Toho Gakuen School, Stuttgart State University of the Arts, and the Vienna Conservatoire. Diploma Prize at the Viotti International Piano Competition. Vienna Bösendorfer Prize. Third prize at the Porteau International Competition and the Best Contemporary Music Prize. The fifth prize at the Enna International Competition. Special Encouragement from the City of Vienna for two consecutive years. NHK Educational TV "Mozart on the Piano Appeared on NHK Educational TV "Mozart on Piano", NHK-FM "Best of Classic", "Saturday Recital", etc. Performed the theme music for NHK Taiga Drama "Hana no Ran". He has performed in concerts in Italy, England, the United States, Portugal, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. He has also done many arrangements and compositions and was the first Japanese arranger to be certified by the Bernstein Society of America. He has performed with the Vienna Conservatoire Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic, the Kanagawa Philharmonic, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Gunma City Philharmonic, the Tohoku University Orchestra, the New Philharmonic Chiba, the Wuhan Orchestra, and others.
