“MaL” released the new music Album “Primal Dub”

“MaL” just dropped the new and hot Album “Primal Dub”. It will contain the songs 'Feel the rain', 'Unrequited Dub', 'I'm in Dub', 'Night on the Sidewalk', 'Sivextro Riddim', 'Powder snow Dub', 'Let me Dub you' and 'In a different style' total of 8songs. MaL is a Japanese DJ, artist, and music producer based in Tokyo. He has been active in the dance music scene across Japan and worldwide since the 90's, and he is one of the core members of the bass music crew PART2STYLE. An album "Primal Dub" is MaL's first solo work in his long musical life, consisting only of his own sound source and his compositions. Here, a mellow and gentle dub music reflecting a personal side of MaL is unfolded, and music fans who know him of PART2STYLE will be surprised. In June 2021, MaL was severely injured for nine months and was hospitalized for 80 days. This album consists of songs produced during that time. As for MaL, nightclubs surrounded by deep bass sound was his everyday life, and so, being detached from it and having had to spend numerous days in the calmness, the theme of a 'soundtrack of an ordinary life with a keyword dub' emerged. The eight songs contained in the album "Primal Dub" beautifully blend in with our daily lives in an ambient-chill-out mood setting. The deep and sinking bassline is very unique to MaL, and such deep bass sound shall invite the listener into the calmness and tranquillity. "Primal Dub" is not only a 'soundtrack of an ordinary life' but is an album that can have a unique healing effect. The charming and delicate artwork of the album was designed by an artist BEST MATCH CORNER. "Primal Dub" is the first album to be released from HOODISH RECORDINGS, a label runned by a music pub KUSUDAMA in Takadanobaba in Tokyo, the hometown of MaL. In this regard, the album "Primal Dub" may be described as a collection of local music that is connected to MaL's daily life. MaL is the resident DJ of the largest bass music festival in Japan "OUTLOOK FESTIVAL JAPAN", and he has also performed at the "OUTLOOK FESTIVAL" held in Croatia for 9 consecutive years.

He has DJ'd at numerous DJ parties and festivals around the world, and has been highly acclaimed by many domestic and international bass music fans and top notch artists and DJs.

While extensively doing song writings and remixes for domestic and foreign artists, and for commercials, as a DJ, MaL has a wide range of play styles from large venues to chilling venues. Literally he is a heavyweight in both sound output and in his physique.
