“ironomi” released the new music Album “A Tale of the Far North”

“ironomi” just dropped the new and hot Album “A Tale of the Far North”. It will contain the songs '1st movement kohaku', '2nd movement nakiyuki', '3rd movement yomi' and '4th movement shironiji' total of 4songs. Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.

In the cold, dignified air, each note of the piano falls like snow, glittering and echoing with light. The piece was used as the theme music for WWF Japan's 2008 special website, "A Tale of the Far North," and expresses the story of nature in the Arctic and the animals that are endangered by global warming.

"ironomi," a unit composed of Junya Yanagidaira and Yu Isobe, pursues unique expression of ringing various seasonal "seeds of color," also meaning the name of their unit. With a simple formation of piano and laptop, this album was recorded at "STARNET RECODE" which is a 200-year-old folk house relocated from quiet mountainous area of Okuaizu. In the midst of soothing chirping of insects, warp of piano brings memories and relic of the place, and is woven with weft of coordinating organic mixture into pellucid and mystical flows which fills the space. This is exactly a fruitful harvest of seasonal "seeds of color."
