sumahama? is an indoor pop collective of four singer-songwriters / multi-instrumentalists, based in Shioya, Kobe. It began in the spring of 2018 when UG Noodle and Seizo, a trombonist of Mitamura Kandadan?, responded to Ken Tsukuruya's call for collaboration; and Kusuda did to UG's. Among their variety of composition, "Yume No Koibito (My Platonic Sweet Heart)" was visualized by Yoshihiro Haku from Otamirams who are known for their work with Wednesday's Campanella. Most of the pieces of sumahama?'s music are based on two motifs; dreams and the ocean. Where is the border between dreams and realities or the ocean and the ground? The collective traces the memories of the sea and quoria of dreams, and focuses on the border where there must be some good music; the phantom of layering waves, that is.
