RIEKO IWAKI

Accordion player. Rieko realized that music had its own story while she was performing in theater and film. She began composing her music as if drawing pictures of nature. Rieko also teaches accordion. During her lessons, she emphasizes the power of music to warm and relax you from inside. In 2016, Rieko went on a pilgrimage to Santiago, Spain. She completed a total of 40 days and 800 km. In 2020, during the pandemic, Rieko began studying astrology. She realized that astrology was a chronicle of nature and started making films titled Blessings Of The Stars. Member of the unit Rakkyo with Kyoko Sawa (storytelling) and Chikurin Trio with Tetsuya Kobayashi (singing, guitar) and Ryohei Fujimoto (marimba, percussion).
