Beat & ambient producer TOMC's new piece is a beat music that combines the suppleness of jazz/chamber music and the strength of soul/hip-hop. The track is a contribution to "Motoko Tanaka's Memento Tokyo," a podcast by Motoko Tanaka, owner of Kissa Laundry, which covers "city", "public", and "architectural" topics. The organic interplay of piano and wind instruments is an extension of the controlled, classical style of his previous ambient album, "Music for the Ninth Silence," and shows his musical deepening.
