Michael Sakamoto & Judo Chop

Born in 1984 in Tokyo Japan. Raised in a international household with a Japanese father and an American mother. From a young age was influenced by his father who played blues, jazz, and rock and a mother who liked soul music. First falls in love with hip hop through his cousin who was a Dj in Los Angeles at the time who often gave him mix tapes. Then in middle school from his friend's older brother he receives a rap mixtape that is all in Japanese, which inspired him to start rapping himself.
