“Tohji” released the new music Album “angel”

“Tohji” just dropped the new and hot Album “angel”. It will contain the songs 'intro', 'Snowboarding', 'Rodeo', 'mamasaidloveme', 'HI-CHEW', 'Jetlife (feat. Loota)', 'Tohji's hurt', 'on my own way' and 'miss u' total of 9songs. Enjoy the R&B/Soul sound from the far east Asia.

Born in London, raised in Tokyo and Yokohama, Tohji is an artist whose unconventional style of hard-hitting highs and mellow lows is being enthusiastically soaked up by the youth of Tokyo. At the end of 2018, under the collective pseudonym "Mall Boyz", Tohji released the EP "MALL TAPE" out to the world. Tracks from this EP were picked up by official playlists of various streaming platforms. On top of that, his 2019 single "Rodeo" sat at the top of the charts across all genres on Soundcloud Japan. Following the success of this single, he rallied an audience of 550 eager fans for a showcase at Shibuya WWW called "Platina Ade". Platina Ade ended up being the best selling showcase the venue had ever put on. Moreover, Tohji continued this success with the appearance for ULTRA KOREA in June. This work is Tohji's very 1st Mixtape, which colloborates with various genres of music. Expectations are especially high among the new generation of Tokyo's music scene. Producers include MURVSAKI, who has been continuously providing beats to KOHH,BAD HOP, and UK's top producer Zeph Ellis, who has worked on Kano and AJ Tracey. The mixtape also has one feature with Loota, who was involved in the world viral sensation "It G Ma" with Keith Ape, and one of the main the contributors of Frank Ocean's "blonde". Tohji, who expresses his feelings and reality of outskirts of Tokyo in a rough and pure manner, represents as an "Angel" for the same generation living in a harsh reality. The "Angel" he manifests is different from how the society normally defines. It is a symbol of realistic hope that opens up a sense of obstruction, which resonates with all the youth in every part of the world. His view and theme construct such a strong persuasiveness throughout his music on this mixtape. Tohji always shows us new views not only with his music, but also with his performance and movement. This mixtape will create a new chapter of his life, as well as a new music culture in Japan.
