"AKASUSHO RomaN'Chicks" is a Japanese trio band led by a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and painter Sho Akasu, presents its first album "Shozoga". Shozoga means portrait in english. The band's first album "Shozoga" features high-quality performances by professional musicians, and includes jazz, blues, funk, rock, latin, and 4/4 kicks music. And unique songs are found in the high perfection of the music. "AKASUSHO RomaN'Chicks" is an album with a wide range of elements from crying to laughter. The album artwork, which is based on an abstract work of art called "Portrait" drawn by Sho Akasu, is very impressive. "Five Rainbows in July," is the only English song on the album. the lyrics is written by Zak Magami, a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and lyricist.This is the first English song by Sho Akasu, and a global collaboration betweenand Zak Magami and Sho Akasu. The lonely solo piano performance is like the dawn of Roma's journey. What kind of scenery and what kind of face will the songs show us in the future? "AKASUSHO RomaN'Chicks" is a Japanese trio band formed in Tokyo in 2021. The band is led by a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and painter Sho Akasu, a versatile artist in the music and art scene in Japan. The band has attracted fans with its humorous yet melancholic songs, unconventional sounds with jazz oriented improvisations and powerful grooves. Sho Akasu is a composer and lyricist who sings and plays guitar, asalato and harmonica. He creates music in many different types and styles ranging from pop to soul, jazz, funk and world music, both entertaining and organic. On bass, Katsuyasu Narumi bounces the band's sound with a solid bassline and plays outstanding bass guitar solos like no other. On drums, Ippei Sawamura, the drummer of the hip-hop band SANABAGUN. pumps up the band with his tight grooves and creative drum plays cultivated in the scene.
