This is a distribution single by MIC RAW RUGA, a girls' rap group produced by E TICKET PRODUCTION that provides songs to Butei Yoshida, KMNZ, and Nagi Nemoto of Denpagumi. Following their previous single "PAY YOU BACK", this is their second consecutive monthly release. "HOW RAW" includes the group's name "RAW" in the title, and begins with the same sampling as "MIC RAW RUGA ON THE ONE TWO" released when the group was first formed, foreshadowing a new beginning.
