Born in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture JAPAN. After serving as a radio station director, he studied under the late recording engineer Shinichi Akakawa. Currently, he is active in field recording of natural sounds and environmental sounds. In addition to recording according to company orders and distributing natural sounds on his own label UZrecords, he released the natural sound album "sound-scape" series. The work is also highly evaluated in J-WAVE "Ryuichi Sakamoto RADIO SAKAMOTO".
