Formed in 1994 in Tokyo. Played in live houses in Tokyo until 1997. In 2020, WAYA restarted their activities when KITAI uploaded a song "Angel who fell to the earth" at that time to YouTube while at his home in COVID-19 pandemic. Vocal & Blues harp : Yasuo KITAI, Acoustic guitar & Chorus : Yoshinori TAKANO, Bass & Percussion : Atsushi NAGASHIMA. On January 11, 2023, the first album "Quarter century", a newly recorded compilation of songs from that time, is released for distribution.
