shinichi karuishi
Born in Iwate, musician, guitarist
He first became interested in music as a child when he heard a demo song on his grandfather's Yamaha SHS-200 shoulder keyboard.
In junior high school, he fell in love with the sound of the electric guitar and started playing guitar, and in high school he spent his days composing and making multiple recordings on an MTR with his friends.
After moving to Tokyo, he worked as a guitarist and composer in mixed-media bands and Rare Groove-style instrumental bands.
Returned home in 2021. Around the same time, he started DTM in earnest.
In 2022, released a double name album Over with Kobacchi Ryo. After gaining a solid reputation mainly in the local scene, in 2023 he joined fellow trackmaker 5OW's song City Scape as a guitarist. He has been well received for his cool, breathy playing that accompanies laid-back beats and piano.
He is a musician with a taste for scenic soundscapes, making sounds of everyday subtleties.
