“Hatsune Hirakura” released the new music Album “Wheel of Time”
“Hatsune Hirakura” just dropped the new and hot Album “Wheel of Time”. It will contain the songs 'Embraceable You (Cover)', 'Days of Wine and Roses (Cover)', 'Softly as in a Morning Sunrise (Cover)', 'I Got Rhythm (Cover)', 'Body and Soul (Cover)', 'Stardust (Cover)', 'You Don't Know What Love Is (Cover)', 'Invitation (Cover)' and 'Summertime (Cover)' total of 9songs. This work is the first studio recording by pianist Hatsune Hirakura, who has appeared like a comet in the Japanese jazz scene. She just graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2020, but she's already established herself as an undisputed top player. This work welcomes two maestros, Atsushi Ikeda (as) and Yosuke Inoue (b), who are about the same age as a parent and child, and performed American standards from the 1920s and 30s. She interpreted the standard with her youthful sensibility and her exceptional expressiveness. Recorded at Taro Okamoto's atelier in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo.

Hatsune Hirakura
Professional Pianist, Hatsune HIrakura has had many performances with multiple bands in the Osaka and Tokyo area, including as a leader with her trio Hatsune Hirakura Trio. Pianist for Terri Lyne Carrington Berklee summer jazz workshop band in 2016. A Japan tour with her duo this December includes guest artists such as Takuya Kuroda on Trumpet. In April in 2019, 4 nights performance at the Bern jazz festival in Switzerland with drummer Ralph Peterson . In May in 2019, tour with Saxophonist Melissa Aldana in Boston, Connecticut, Philadelphia, and New York. Returned to Japan in 2020 and is active in the Japanese jazz scene based in Tokyo. She released her first album 'Tears' in 2022 and 'Wheel of Time' on Days of Delight in 2023.
