It is a hymn to Hawaii that is still loved and loved by the people of Hawaii today. With the hope that 2023 will be an aloha and happy year for everyone, I chose this song for the first distribution of this year. I wrote the Japanese version of the theme song for the movie "Hula Girl" released in 2006, and co-starred with Jake Shimabukuro, which gave me a connection with Hawaii, Hawaiian music, and hula. While performing with hula and Hawaiian music people, I was blessed with the opportunity to sing Hawaiian songs and teach me wonderful songs. Among them, I was strongly attracted to Mr. Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's songs that touched my heart gently, and I immediately fell in love with them. I love the video of Izu's "Hawai'i Aloha", and I always wanted to sing it. At that time, I had the opportunity to do a YouTube shoot with Tomoko Kitada, a ukulele Hawaiian singer, and requested "Hawai'i Aloha". When We played it together, it sounded really good, so I decided to record it as an extension of that sound image. I sang while feeling Hawaii and Aloha spirit, and put my own Aloha into this sound source. And thanks to Tomoko's beautiful singing voice, the ukulele performance that accompanies my song and the piano, and Mr. Mizutani's moderate adjustment of the recording and mixing, it was a wonderful sound source. I would be happy if it resonates with everyone's hearts. [From Tomoko Kitada] I've listened to it many times, with various speakers and in different situations. Miho's world view is amazing! That's excellent! ! After listening to it many times, I thought it was a beautiful Hawai'i Aloha that you can only find here. I was really happy to be able to work with Miho on this wonderful work that can only be expressed by Miho. Thank you for the beauty, as if the sun were rising over the horizon! !
