2023.3.1

“Dissecting Table” released the new music song “Destructive Urge (Live at UPD studio on February 1, 2023)”

“Dissecting Table” just dropped the new and hot song “Destructive Urge (Live at UPD studio on February 1, 2023)”. It will contain the song 'Destructive Urge (Live at UPD studio on February 1, 2023)' . Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.

As the track "Destructive Urge" is a binaural recording, please listen to the track with headphones. The developed synthesizer system mainly consists of a computer, universal serial bus (USB) device, line selector, filter, and mixer. A 32-channel speaker is connected to the mixer with a built-in amplifier, and the automated performance is delivered by a computer. An 8-channel-speaker is arranged on one side of a square. There are 8-channel speakers arranged on the four sides of the square, and a 32-channel speaker is placed inside the square. An 8-channel-speaker can direct a sound source from left to right with the help of a mixer and can control the localization of sound. Because the 32-channel speaker is arranged within the square, it can control the localization of sound, directing it forward and backward, left and right. Six kinds of filters are used for this system. The output signal of each filter is played back by an 8-channel speaker via a mixer. The right 8-channel speaker plays the output signal of the whitening filter. The back 8-channel speaker plays the output signal of the state-variable filter 1. The front 8-channel speaker plays the output signal of the multiple synthesizer and state-variable filter 2. The left 8-channel speaker plays the output signal of the all-pass filter and state-variable filter 3. The circuit construction of state-variable filters 1, 2, and 3 differs. The multiple synthesizer mainly consists of a Wien-Bridge oscillator, multiplier, biquad circuit, and voltage-control circuit. A multiple synthesizer is formed by connecting a computer synthesizer to a computer with a USB device using a USB interface. Furthermore, because the line selector can change the connection of the pulse width modulation signal output from a USB device and filter, it can change the timbre of the filter. The dummy-head microphone is arranged at the center of gravity of the 32-channel speaker, and the playback from the speaker is recorded. By using headphones, the playback sound field becomes three-dimensional.

Dissecting Table

Ichiro Tsuji was born in 1966. He started working on noise/industrial music for his band named "Dissecting Table" in Tokyo in 1986. He returned to his hometown of Hiroshima in 1998, and has been pursuing musical activities ever since. His records and compact disks have been released under the independent label of the UPD organization, and under labels in Europe and the United States. In the first and middle stage of his career he controlled the synthesizer and sampler by the sequencer, but since 2012, the works have been produced by controlling PWM signals output from a USB device on a computer. Lately the work is being made by developing an original synthesizer system.
