'Summer Nights / uma noite de verão' is the first single of an upcoming EP by LAURA. A Brazilian-born artist, raised in London and currently based in Tokyo, Japan. This new single is a blend of Bossa Nova and R'n'B; giving it a latin flavor to this nostalgic melody. The song takes us back to the warm summer days, with chill and nostalgic vibes that reminds us to take it easy. The lyrics are sung softly in English/Portuguese, and talk about a love that desires to be nurtured. The idea behind the song included Laura's love for Brazilian music - digging into her Brazilian roots yet keeping it contemporary. Produced by Chocoholic, a Japanese R'n'B producer who has produced artists such as SIRUP, IMALU, etc. In the last 5 years Laura has been growing in her career in particular Asia, where she developed a career in modeling having been featured as cover girl for Cosmopolitan Japan for LGBTQ+ month. Diesel Japan Campaign for 'Make love not walls', various features in Nylon Japan, Vogue Taiwan and a campaign for H&M Japan. Laura came out in 2016 as lesbian, and has ever since been sharing her experience on social media. She started a YouTube channel that shows her daily life in Japan. Laura has always expressed herself creatively, taking on a new chapter to express herself musically with her new upcoming music which is has nostalgic vibes and fits a Indie/Pop/Lo-Fi RnB.
