TAMAZO, who has been gaining attention in the Tokyo dancehall scene, follows up his August 2022 release of "Lemonade" with Gyal Anthem, an Afrobeats-oriented riddim. The riddim was made by London-based producer P2J, who also produced Burna Boy's "Twice as Tall," Wizkid's "Made in Lagos," and Beyoncé's "The Lion King: The Gift. The sexy cover art is "fl(aa)sh. luluxxx" by French artist Lulu xXX. The latest "MODE" of Japanese dancehall reggae is here!

TAMAZO

Tamazo is a promising young Reggae Dancehall artist from Itabashi, Tokyo. He started his career when he was invited to a dancehall in his neighborhood where he happened to hang out and played the mic at Rub a Dub. Now he produces music mainly in his home studio, and also does his own mixing and mastering. His first EP "New Gate" debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes reggae album chart in 2022.
