“pomodorosa” released the new music Album “pomodorosa”
“pomodorosa” just dropped the new and hot Album “pomodorosa”. It will contain the songs 'Bourbon', 'I don't like hair wax', 'Sakura front', 'Iced coffee', 'Thunderbolt from the blue', 'Alternative', 'outside of the kettle', 'Shiba 3-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo', 'Coração' and 'Aireligion' total of 14songs. Enjoy the Jazz sound from the far east Asia.
I've been releasing tracks on SoundCloud since around 2012, so it may seem a little late to be releasing this now, but I've never actually released a complete album, and I never thought about using the songs I made under the name pomodorosa for commercial purposes (although I did once make a cassette tape with a limited run of 50 copies as a fanzine).
However, I've received a few inquiries from fans (mainly overseas) asking if I've released any commercially, and if there are such requests, I've started thinking about releasing some of my scattered tracks together in some form.
Amidst all of this, a distribution service has recently been launched on SoundCloud, which I've been using to release my tracks, and this is how I decided to release this. (I've now moved to TuneCore Japan)
The album contains 14 songs in total. Based on the familiar "TOP 20 + 1" playlists that I have published on SoundCloud, I compiled them with the idea of listening to them as an album in mind.
The album is available on major music distribution platforms around the world, including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Youtube Music, etc. You can't only subscribe to it, but also purchase it as a download like iTunes or Amazon, so please access it from your favorite platform.
As mentioned above, the track was originally released on SoundCloud, so there is nothing particularly new about it. If you have listened to it before, I hope you will think, "Oh, it's now available for distribution."
However, the sound quality is compiled from the master sound source for distribution, so I think it is superior to the one released on SoundCloud both aurally and numerically. I also felt that the sense of unity and worldview when listening to the album as a whole was good. And the best part is that listeners can play it on a platform they are familiar with.
Finally, the artwork is a close-up of a tomato icon that I have been using for about 7-8 years. This is a photo of cherry tomatoes that I took without any particular thought, but it's strange how if you keep using it, you start to get the illusion that this ordinary cherry tomato is "pomodorosa", and even third parties remember him as "that tomato guy", so it's a photo that really proves the saying "persistence is power".
Although it's an existing song, this is the first commercially distributed version, and I could have drawn new artwork from scratch, but... I think we wanted a sense of security over novelty. And because it's the first time, I feel that by selecting the familiar Tomato, people will be able to recognize "pomodorosa x music".
Have fun!

pomodorosa
As known as an illustrator, character designer "pomodorosa". But he also has side of a musician and multi instrumentalist. He is thinking that music and painting influence each other. It is a methodology that stimulates creativity with the flow of hearing and vision and the flow of thoughts that manipulate them. In fact, his works are rich in variations. The conversation between sound and painting are continuing to change his outputs.
