Mika Umezu

Studied Classical Piano with Eva Solar Kinderman at Victoria Conservatory in Victoria, Canada. After receiving Diploma of Music, transfered to Berklee College of Music and took several courses in Jazz Study including vocal, composition and arranging. As finishing Diploma course at Berklee, moved to Los Angeles. Besides teaching piano at Yamaha Music School in Irvine, produced a jingle music for "House Fruche" and played keyboard in a local band called Kiwi Jam. Since moving back to Japan in 2003, she has been actively performing in Tokyo with her band. She has released her first CD "MIKA" in June, 2017 and is touring all over Japan now.
