MARS HOTEL
The band started activities in 2021 as a three-piece band consisting of TETSUYA (vocal), DAIKI (drums), and YUTA (guitar). Their music is heavily influenced by 80s R&B, Japanese city pop, and dance music, and features their own unique worldview with lyrical and delicate lyrics and melody. They are mainly active in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The band's name originates from TETSUYA's (vocal) love for sci-fi movies and his desire to incorporate a planet's name into the band's name. Thus, he combined Mars (MARS) with Hotel (HOTEL), hoping to convey a message of a place where everyone can rest. As a result, the band's name became "Mars Hotel" (MARS HOTEL).
